Fillers
Dermal fillers are injectable gels made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance found within the skin. While fillers are commonly associated with replacing lost volume or filling wrinkles, modern facial rejuvenation focuses on restoring the underlying structural support that naturally diminishes with age.
As we age, changes occur not only in the skin, but also in the ligaments, fat compartments and deeper support structures of the face. These changes allow the soft tissues to gradually descend, contributing to features such as heavier jowls, deeper smile lines, hollowing around the eyes and loss of facial definition.
Rather than simply filling individual lines or hollows, our approach focuses on restoring support at key anatomical foundation points. By strategically replacing support where it has been lost, the overlying tissues can be repositioned more naturally, often improving multiple areas of the face with fewer treatment points.
The goal is not to change how you look, but to restore balance, facial harmony and youthful support while maintaining natural facial expressions.
Rather than treating each line or hollow individually, we assess the face as a whole.
Many visible signs of ageing are secondary to the gradual loss of structural support elsewhere in the face. For example, restoring support in the cheeks may also improve the appearance of the under-eye area, smile lines and early jowls. Likewise, supporting the temples may improve brow position and soften the appearance of the upper eyelids.
By addressing the underlying causes rather than individual symptoms, treatment aims to achieve natural-looking rejuvenation while avoiding unnecessary volume or heaviness.
Comprehensive facial assessment and personalised treatment planning
Typically 30–60 minutes
Topical anaesthesia or local anaesthesia may be used where appropriate
Mild swelling or bruising may occur for several days
Many patients achieve their desired outcome in a single session, while others may benefit from staged treatments depending on their goals
Results are visible immediately following treatment, with final results becoming more apparent as any swelling settles over the following one to two weeks.
Restoring support to the cheeks helps recreate youthful facial contours and may improve the appearance of the under-eye area, smile lines, early jowls and jawline definition.
Lifting from the temples softens a hollow appearance around the eyes while supporting the brows and upper face.
Rather than simply filling the fold itself, treatment may involve restoring support in surrounding structures to achieve a softer, more natural improvement.
Enhances jawline definition while improving lower facial support and contour.
Improves facial balance by enhancing chin projection, shape and lower facial proportions.
Improves under-eye hollows and softens the transition between the lower eyelid and cheek.
Enhances hydration, definition, shape and proportion while preserving natural movement and expression.
Individual results vary depending on facial anatomy, treatment goals and contributing factors.
A medical consultation is necessary to assess suitability and discuss realistic expectations.
